The Surgical Oncology Department at CBCC partner hospitals provides diagnostic and consultative service for individuals with problems related to Solid Tumours. Complex tumour removals are skillfully performed by highly trained and motivated surgical oncologists. In the department of surgical oncology, we aim to provide high quality and comprehensive care to patients with solid organ malignancies. Providing comprehensive care involves taking care of all aspects of cancer treatment including screening & prevention, early diagnosis, staging, local and systemic treatment, reconstruction, follow-up, and rehabilitation along with palliative care.
We advocate organ specific and multidisciplinary care in surgical oncology and offer specialised services for the management of breast cancer, head-neck cancers, gastrointestinal and Colo-rectal cancers, uro-genital cancers, and gynaecological cancers.
All our surgical oncologists work as a part of the multidisciplinary team, working closely with the other specialists like radiologists, pathologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, plastic and reconstructive surgeons, cancer care nurses, psychologists, nutritionists, and physiotherapists to ensure best outcomes for our patients.
