Stem Cell/Bone Marrow transplant is a procedure used to treat Blood Cancers and other haematological conditions. In a Stem Cell/Bone marrow Transplant, the patient’s diseased blood producing (Hematopoietic) Stem Cells are replaced by Fresh Stem Cells either from the patient’s own body (Autologous Transplant) or from a Donor’s Stem Cells (Allogeneic Transplant).
Haematology is the branch of medicine that deals with blood disorders. CBCC Cancer Centre offers comprehensive haematology services, including stem cell/bone marrow transplants.
We are committed to help practising haematologists provide quality care to patients, continue their professional development, and enhance their knowledge and expertise.
